Protecting
Your
Home
with
a
Professionally-Monitored
Burglar
Alarm

Has
anyone
ever
robbed
your
home?
Do
you
have
neighbors
who
were
robbed?
Being
robbed
is
a
very
traumatic
experience.
Knowing
that
someone
violated
your
personal
space
and
stole
something
of
value
is
very
scary,
because
you
never
know
what
might
have
happened
if
you
had
been
home
during
the
robbery.
Robberies
can
often
end
violently
if
a
robber
is
caught
off
guard
by
a
suspicious
homeowner.
Homeowners
should
not
have
to
go
to
bed
each
night
worried
about
their
safety.
For
this
reason,
many
invest
in
home
burglar
alarms.
The
most
basic
type
of
home
burglar
alarm
is
a
simple
motion
detector.
Upon
going
to
bed,
a
homeowner
will
turn
on
their
home
burglar
alarm
which
will
go
off
if
it
detects
movement.
The
sound
of
the
alarm
will
generally
send
a
burglar
running,
but
unfortunately
will
usually
cause
a
pretty
big
fright
to
the
unsuspecting
homeowner.
Luckily,
the
site
of
a
home
burglar
alarm
is
usually
enough
to
send
a
burglar
packing
before
he
attempts
to
break
in
and
sets
off
the
alarm.
More
sophisticated
home
burglar
alarms
are
wired
to
24-hour
security
offices.
If
the
alarm
detects
abnormal
movement
in
a
home,
it
notifies
the
security
office
which
then
sends
someone
to
inspect
the
house.
If
the
alarm
doesn't
scare
away
a
burglar,
an
approaching
squad
car
probably
will.
This
additional
level
of
security
is
good
for
families
who
take
extended
vacations.
A
family
is
able
to
have
more
fun
on
their
trip
knowing
that
professionals
are
constantly
monitoring
their
home.
